We have an eater on our hands ...

4 months!

Evie turns 4 months on Thursday, and she seems to be celebrating the landmark by teething! Her fist is constantly in her mouth - or my finger, her blanket, whatever is around. She's also marking this special milestone with lots of babbling! This week, her Mimi Loretta is taking care of her while Mom and Dad work. Next week, Mark becomes Mr. Mom - he's home with her for three weeks before the school year begins!

Evie experienced her first Royals game last weekend - a true trooper, she made it through tailgating and all 9 innings!

Evie's First Beach Vacation

Evie is officially a little "fishy." She loved her daily dips in the pool and even her first waves on the beach! Our two weeks in Florida were so amazing. Everyone loved playing with her all day, and I swear she grew a ton! Her little legs have really chunked up! She's holding herself up much better on her tummy, and she's about to start rolling. Any day now! She's also obsessed with her fist - always shoving it in her mouth - sometimes to the point of choking herself!! Every day is something new, and it was really special to have those two weeks with our families. Especially since Mark and I are now back to work. Bummer! We miss you every minute Evie!

Florida Here We Come!

Evie was so excited for her first dips in the pool and the ocean. We're about to leave for two weeks in Seaside, FL with both sides of our families. These will be the last two weeks of my maternity leave - unfortunately - but what a great way to end what has been three of most wonderful months of our lives.
